I started cosplaying in 2017 and started going to cons in 2019. I found cosplaying through my classmate and YouTube. My first ever cosplay was a closet cosplay of Ballora from Five Nights At Freddies. I have continued cosplaying since then. I always hid my hobby from others. I lived in a small town where most people know each other. Cosplaying was weird to others and I knew there was a high chance of getting bullied so I never mentioned it. I was super outgoing and active when I was younger, but  I had a lot of issues having friends because I was different. I was always afraid to show fully who I was. Sure I had crazy haircuts and dressed differently but I still couldn’t express who I was. I got many friends through cosplay but my friends lived far from me so I was pretty lonely. When I was at cons I was at my happiest. I got to meet the same type of people like me and it was the best feeling ever. Now I live in a bigger city where people don´t care who or what you do. I can go outside wearing a cosplay and do a photoshoot wherever I want.

Years went by and I was active at cosplaying and had a lot of friends. I competed in a cosplay contest in 2023 and came second place, then I was in a few cosplay catwalks. I got two of my best friends to cosplay as well and it was so fun!

In 2023 I made an Idol group and trained mostly every weekend and did it with people I loved dearly. I’m grateful for so many people, my mom, my friends and strangers at cons. You`ve made this hobby way better for me and made me feel safe.

Cosplaying for 8 years has been a blast and the amount of cosplays i`ve done is a lot! To be honest I don’t remember all of them, but most of them I remember well. If I were to guess how many cosplays I’ve done it is around 40 to 50. Choosing a character to cosplay is simple for me. If I relate to the character, like the design or just love everything about them, I most likely will cosplay them. It’s always lovely to watch a movie, a series or play a game and fall in love with a Character. I don’t cosplay a character because I might look like them, because cosplay is not about looking like the character.
